We started a penpal program between the children at the Vihiga Children's Home in Kenya and schools here in Vancouver and Tsawwassen. This morning we picked up the letters to take with us. A big thanks to Quilchena Elementary School for getting involved in this letter-writing program for the younger kids at the home. I know the kids in Kenya will be thrilled to receive these letters and will write letters for us to return with. Having a quick look through the letters, the children are so sincere in their writing, and their pictures are fabulous. The Kenyan children are going to love them. Looking forward to delivering them!
